Monday, October 29, 2001 at 7:30 p.m. First Parish Church, 20 Lexington Rd., Concord.About 100 people gathered at the First Parish Church in Concord as Grass Roots Actions for Peace and MADRE presented a panel of activists who spoke about America, Palestine, Israel, and the world situation particularly concerning women's issues.
MADRE informs on the effects of US policies on women and families worldwide. Providing aid such as milk and medicine, MADRE supports women's struggles for long term social justice and human rights solutions. MADRE is an international human rights organization in partnership with community based groups in other countries.
