Dancing chickens everywhere symbolized the apparent fear of the "debate's" corporate sponsors to allow any non DemoPublican views, particularly those of the corporate giant-slayer Nader. Corporate donations to Democrats and Republicans were displayed on a large sign.

 Later that night, Candidate Nader was ejected from the corporate run 'debate' premises as he attempted to enter as a mere spectator, with ticket in hand.  Even the union guys overwhealmingly agreed Nader belonged in the debate. Not as a spectator, but as a participant. Many of them were actually closet Naderites.
